Ok, here is a problem: the STAB (launcher) program that updates the executable was build in version 8. The executable was build in VFP9. So it was running in VFP8, that's why we had all the problems and that's why ALINES worked in IDE and blowed in exe. I "fixed" it by removing nFlags parameter, but then it blowed on the next statement that used CAST() function. Then I had a guess that somehow the executable was in version 8. My colleague had swore that it was compiled in VFP9 and then we realized the problem with the launcher program.
