>>>I'm glad I'm not the only one having a few problems with suspension of disbelief on CSI. I have similar problems with House, where his three assistants do all the tests and surgery and everything else. Gee, why do they need all those other people at the hospital? <bg>

>>But why bother doing ANY tests in the hospital? It always ends with them visiting the patient's house (maybe that's why the series was so named) and finding there's a poison in the cat hairs, or next door have been fumigating and some of it got on his golf clubs :-)

><vbg> Yeah, I forgot how they always have time to leave the hospital and break into the patient's house. Nonetheless, I do actually like the show a lot and still am amazed by Hugh Laurie's ability to sound like an American.

I like the show too, but it's as predictable as a Gilligan's Isle plot..
Just love his vicious, sardonic, sarcastic wit (the butch one in the "Golden Girls" was good at that too). I wanna be him when I grow up.
Yes, he DOES do a good accent. I think it's the underlying monotone drone that's convincing. All US high school girls seem to have it too. :-)
