Hmmm.. how can a daily award be given weekly?

Yeah, I know. My high school buddies and I trade emails or IMs once a week, and we have the DOOD award. (easier to pronounce than DOOW). We're actually thinking of a website (sort of like the Darwin awards, except that all recipients of the award are still alive)
