We don't have a "typical" contract outlining the working relationship with our customers and renumeration is only one part of the agreement. A copy of a contract, which I'm not at liberty to distribute, would probably not be of a great deal of benefit to you because each relationship is different. More importantly, you absolutely need to have an attorney involved who will represent your interests. Failure to do so has the liklihood of leaving you in an undesirable position. My approach is to do the negotiating with whomever at the clients. Once we have pretty well fleshed out the relationship it's time for the attorneys to finalize it with a contract acceptable to both parties. I have seen this process take as little as a few weeks, or in one extreme case, several years (during which we kept doing business together - their legal department was a black hole).

Sorry I can't be of much help,

Scott
