>I am using a report that needs formatting of a field as a currency field. This field reads from a table field N(10,2) size.Decimals are set to 2 in regional settings.I need this field in the detail band and also on a summary band with the calculated field using SUM.
>Visual fox5a sets this format as "@$". But on the preview the field displays the number ok but the decimal places are filled up to the size of the field.

>Eg if the value is $2345.56 preview shows $2345.56000000. If I reduce the size of the field then the zeros are reduced. If I set up the field as a number (no currency) the decimals come out ok. But for Currency this always happens.

Further from me,Bernard, the tables used are normal fox2.6 tables using a numeric type field NOT VFOX currency fields.
