Hi Mike

Got to stick with the way it is, this is a system I've been maintaining for several years by hacking. We did not have guaranteed source code (I have seven different versions of source) until a month ago. I've been reverse engineering it with Refox in order to match up to the code that I have, I still cannot totally guarantee I have the right source code 100% - although I'm close. At this point I have to stick with the minimal changes to get by. I have to have a new version of the form with the end of the month. (I thought I had till January and just got told otherwise on Friday)

I also have to update the data entry form and the database to add aditional fields - none of which appears to be documented as to what it contains.

Once I get the emergency fixes done, I can consider rewritng and putting in better report writing. I have a PDF of the form, and ideally that should be sent out as a background image with the data overlaid. Or somehow link into Adobe stuff to autofill the form. But not this month

Pray I succeed. Every so often I plan on quitting this contract, and asking you to take over.

(Did anyone call you about a [house] windows manufacturer needing a FoxPro DOS rewrite?)
