>>>I think the CSI and CSI NY shows are ok, but CSI Miami? I truly hate that show. Any time I've tried to watch it, I've always ended up hoping for David Caruso to get hit by a bus. I mean, all that posing, and that smarmy arrogance he exudes. How can anybody stand it?

Caruso looks like he HAS been hit by a bus! :-) Agree with you on the posing thing, and that "smile" he gives the people he's helped, at the end, with a little wave - creepy.

>>And that blond assistant with the slight southern accent? How on earth did she ever get an acting license?

>>What? She's gorgeous!

>Are you serious? She's 'conventional pretty'. In other words, no big deal. She has a face that appears to have nothing of interest going on behind it.

She's got beautiful, huge, expressive eyes, a ready and radiant smile, high cheek bones, long blonde hair, a pleasant demeanour, coquettish (spelling?), well proportioned, and she's tiny. Anyway - eye of the beholder and all that.

I've a younger brother, just turned 20, who agrees with me, so she must have something!

Wasn't she also in West Wing - the girl from the opposition who was given a lousy basement office?

>Besides, even if I give you that "she's gorgeous" (which I'm not conceding at all), my question still stands. How on earth did she ever get an acting license?

>Ok, I'll grant that she's a better actor than either Bo Derek or Pia Zadora, but that's about as far as I'll go.

I've got no problem with her acting. To me she acts like a pleasant person whom I'd like to have around - type of person who'd lighten up ones day. Sure it's not her cute southern drawl that makes he sound weird to your frosty northern ears?
