SCENARIO 1.

The baddies chase the hero and his gal for miles through city streets, up and down fire escapes, across roofs, through sewers, warehouses and, sometimes, people's living rooms, by car, on foot, but...

Just when it looks like it's all over for them, their accomplice, with unerring sense of direction and timing, pulls up
in a car and shouts "Quick! Get in!"

SCENARIO 2.

The baddies chase the hero and his gal ... etc., and expend thousands of rounds of ammo trying to kill them but ...

Just when the hero thinks he's got away, an arm appears from behind him and an Uzi 9mm is put to his head. he's told to drop his weapon and is taken prisoner!!!! ????

SCENARIO 2a

As above only the hero's gal just happens to be the reformed ex-mol of the baddy. "Careful you don't shoot the girl" orders the baddies' boss, but they still expend thousands of rounds of ammo trying to kill the hero, with the gal at his side.

SCENARIO 2b

While dodging the thousands of rounds of ammo the hero ALWAYS manages to run just ahead of the hail of bullets from the Uzi. The baddy never thinks to stop following his target, but to fire just ahead of him.

SCENARIO 3

The best laid plans of the hero are AlWAYS depenant sheer luck and on the baddies' being worse shots than he. e.g. he walks through their camp and they obligingly run out of doors for him to shoot down. When they manage to shoot first they always miss ... but his reply doesn't.

SCENARIO 4

When the baddies try to run the hero down, he always tries to outrun the car. Me, I'd just step to one side, the other side of a lamppost, bollard, other parked car, etc., and let them zoom off. In an exposed place, such as the desert, I'd keep just inside their turning circle

SCENARIO 5

When the hero's being chased in his car, and the baddies come up behind and try to run him off the road, he always tries to outrun them. Me, I'd slam on the anchors and let them go sailing past. When people ARE run off the road, they carry on for about 3 minutes, at break-neck speed, crashing through the woods. They never think to take their foot off the gas and brake, preferring to let a tree stop them!


PS Hint for Bond villains: As soon as you've captured 007, kill him instantly. On no account take him to your nerve-centre, explain your dastardly plans to him, then leave him unattended, chained to a heating pipe, assuming he'll die in the explosion/flood/landslide/gas leak!
