This is unusual: my NT Server 4.0 (SP3) computer no longer
minimizes the buttons (windlets?) of active desktop objects,
shown on the taskbar. Up until yesterday, as normal they
would start to shrink if there were more than 3 applications
or folders open. Now, new entries beyond three are popped
into a second or even third "line" of the taskbar, which is
hidden below the edge of the screen unless one drags up the
top edge of the taskbar. The final strange behavior: if I
drag the taskbar to the top of the screen and let it dock,
then the taskbar buttons behave normally! I have repeated
this behavior numerous times, and also cold booted my
machine. Any guesses about this strange problem?
