No "Jihadist" is ever going to succeed in taking over the U.S.

Selling fear is now the politics-de-jour in most of the western world. It's a great cover for inability to govern. I think President Bush's non-war record speaks clearly to that fact.

Other countries have taken the correct course in fighting terrorism, which is to hone/expand those tools used in the past. Declaring "war" on terrorism keeps the folks at home off-guard but it is gross over-reaction to the level of the threat.
