SET STATUS BAR OFF

>Does anyone know a way to turn off the status bar that runs on the main visual fox pro window in a compiled program? I can turn it off in the development environment by going to the "tools" "options" section of the menu, but when I compile a program and run it, the status bar is still there. I'm using fox pro 5.0. Thanks for your help.
