As a Lebanese-American I am very thankful for president Bush for freeing Lebanon from the Syrian dictatorship. If he did not put the US weight behind freeing Lebanon, Lebanon would have still under the Syrian dictatorship paws.

I am a Democrat and I opposed the war on Iraq but this war is changing the area and we may not see the benefit today but the area will become more Democratic and free.

I am in no way trying to defend Bush but only being fair.
