I applaud Mo's attempt at presenting another viewpoint - especially one from someone with a vested interest. His viewpoint is valid whether you agree with it or not. Some may say that his viewpoint has more weight than yours. How can you assure him of anything? Unless you have firsthand knowledge of the decision makers' thoughts during the situation with Lebanon you cannot assure him of anything except a personal point of view based on whatever information you have at your disposal and limited to that information as well.
