That was meant to be humorous - I accidentally left off the smiley. However, I have witnessed it numerous times so it is somewhat true. The attitude towards the male soldiers walking around town was completely different than the treatment tourists (and I received myself as a female soldier - no one knew I was a soldier - they assumed I was a tourist always) received.
