Would you PLEASE outlaw Paid-Programming too. I hate that I pay over $60 a month for cable, and in the morning all there is paid programming.
>I would not get rid of NPR or PBS, just cut federal funding for it. It galls me that PBS has made millionaires out of creators of Sesame Street, Barney, Clifford, etc., and has gotten "nothing" in return for it. These "creators" should be required to revenue share with PBS.

>>You can do everything you posted EXCEPT get rid of PBS. Afterall, how else will I watch my British comedies and mysteries???? :o)

>>>Actually that is what I would do if this country were smart enough to elect me Prez. Once that was done, I would shut down a few other Depts as well. The Fed gov't would be shut down for as long as it took Congress to pass the non-loaded bills. I suspect the VETO stamp would be used more than all the other Presidents combined.

>>>Goodbye to D-O-Ed, D-O-Ag, D-O-Commerce, funding for Arts Endowments, PBS and NPR. Adios D-O-Energy, Homeland Security, OSHA, EPA, most of IRS (flat tax, no deductions or loopholes, and no welfare for the displaced CPAs/Lawyers either), most of D-O-Health, all artificial price supporting subsidies. There would be billions funneled into alt-energy research and a resurrection of SDI.
