i'd forgotten about the previous conversation about the mars bars. i think that you can get them i dublin, at least i have heard rumours but i have never seen them, i have had deep fried ice cream and that was lovely. i am off up to edinburgh in december so i am really looking forward to that, the home of deep fried anything, i heard that there is a chipper that deep fry's a kebab!
i didn't know about the microwave thing, do you have any tasty recipies for it? i have lots of ben and gerrys ice cream as it was on sale in the local show so i'll give it a go.

>We've discussed the mars bar deep fat fried thing before, much to the Americans' incredulity. I didn't know you could also get them in Ireland.

>Did you know, BTW, that using a microwave you can have something coated in ice-cream, but hot pastry on the inside, sort of a reverse baked Alaska. This is cos microwaves cook from the inside out.

>>golden crisp is tasty but i taken to tiffen lately but you can't beat fruit and nut, i'm off to the shops now to get one.

>>>We can even get Cadbury's and Mars ice cream bars here. Do you have them over there? If not, imagine a Mars Bar then imagine instead of the usual innards you have the same only made of ice cream.
