I know that there is many types of gifs. I have tested with only 3 different files and every of them cause the error. Anyway, this is for an internet site and the gifs will be uploaded by the users, so the code must work for ALL type of gifs.

BTW, Win XP Explorer can show the thumnail view of those files without problems.
