>>Before 9/11 the idea of terrorism from the middle-east, being here in the US, was never considered. But, now, that idea is real. The problem is that between the government and the media, it has been escalated. They have driven it to a level of Social Paranoia. People are afraid to walk the streets at night, or to talk to others different themselves.

>>I, myself, try to keep an open mind about people. Even here on the UT, I hear and talk to people from all around the world, even some from the Middle East. I do not see them as potential enemies, but just as people with a common cause as me; FoxPro. It doesn’t matter what race, color, or even religion they are. The only that does matter is that they are good at heart.

In the definitions discussed here, I guess I can be called a liberal.

What I see in the world today, and then compare it to the world I saw, say, thirty years ago, I see more social violence now. Then, I saw world that praised the US, now I see a world that downs the US. Then, opportunity was a description of the US, now the term is out-sourcing and off-shoring. Yes, it does disturb me.

But, enough of my ranting. All-in-all, I am a gentle guy. I do not hate the government, or anyone for the matter. As you may or may not have observed, I rarely evolve myself in any of these debates. And, generally, when I do, it usually has a comical point. I am sorry if I offend you, or anyone else.
