It's working finally with below commands :-

hConn = SQLStringConnect("DSN=sqlserv;UID=vinod;PWD=mypass;Database=vinod")
? hconn && returning 1
SQLEXEC(hconn, [SELECT * FROM ZSample],"crsZSample") && this returns a cursor with 3 records which i entered

but still not able to solve this without creating dsn. Thanks for all your help and sorry for these troubles.

Awaiting your replies to connect directly without using dsn.
