single click the file in windows explorer so it just gets selected, Choose view(drop-down menu), options, File Types (tab). There you can change the file assosiation. Or you can rightclick the file that you want to open while you are pressing the SHIFT key. this will give you an option in the meny that says OPEN WITH. chose it and then choose the appropriate app.
