This is interesting...
Is there some difference between FPD (2.5.2.6) and VFP in the way line traffic happens?
I once worked in a 250+users FPD application where about 200 users were remote across a T1 line and their response was sub-second. Of course their part of the application was carefully designed to use SEEKed data (it was a 'customer service' unit).
The 50 or so local users did the more process/data intensive stuff.
What is at the root of this blanket condemnation of "remote" usage of VFP?
Inquiring minds need to know.
