To them "the West" is not just white people. It is white ideas, like freedom of religion (including atheism), the idea that man can govern themselves, and that women can think too.

If they want the West out of the middle east, I want it in there.

Do you know there are 212,000 in the Iraqi army? That's more troops than the entire colation has over there.

That means that more Iraqis are willing to stand up to the insurgency and secure their own future with their lives than there are Westerners in Iraq.
