I currently enrolled in a C# class at UCLA extenstion that's very good. I'm reading some advanced books to help fill in the gaps. But I find it extremely difficult at times to motivate myself to read on my own.

I'm a contractor, so I pay for all my learning on my own. The only place around here that offers more advanced topics in a classroom setting is Developmentor. But their classes are $2000 a pop.

There are quite a few user groups in the area I might have to start attending more also. There's a really good SIG as part of the orange county group. They specialize in Windows architecture. It's a trek to Santa Ana, but it might be worthwhile. My teacher also recommended them.
