>>I haven't gotten very far evaluating 2005 yet, but I converted our app last weekend and got ALL KINDS OF ERRORS with the conversion
That also happened to those of us who had to convert from the very first dotNET beta. Just one of those things, I guess- it is evolving furiously and all eyes are expected to look forwards, not backwards at your silly old obsolete code ;-)
As for dark beer, I strongly recommend that everybody converts to Australian or New Zealand red wine. It is medicinal- drink a glass per day and you'll live years longer. Go for Australian shiraz if you like a huge sensation, or New Zealand Pinot Noir if you prefer a more reflective burgundy style.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
