>>Ok so Christians believe in Rapture, thats part of their faith, but it's not the only thing that believe. Why is this a problem for you?
>>

>Correction: belief in Rapture is part of some Christians' faith, not all. It is not part of the doctrine of many Christian denominations.

>FWIW, it's a completely wacky concept to me. It seems like a nutty man-made idea designed to appeal to those who want to think they are better than others, more worthy of saving. Not very Christian, if you think about it. Christ himself embraced the poor, the crippled, the whores. Many people who cloak themselves in his name could stand to learn a thing or two from him.

Ok you say it's not a part of every Christian belief and I say it is. It's just that some Christians emphasize it more then others.

All the Christians I know are involved in helping others, like down in New Orleans and Florida.

Regardless. Why is this an issue with nonbelievers like Perry and maybe you? Are they threatening anyone with their belief?

Sure it sounds nutty to some, but I think it's more nutty (maybe more freigthening) that some make a big deal of it and feel threaten/offended by it.
The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money.
