>>Regardless. Why is this an issue with nonbelievers like Perry and maybe you? Are they threatening anyone with their belief?
>>
>>Sure it sounds nutty to some, but I think it's more nutty (maybe more freigthening) that some make a big deal of it and feel threaten/offended by it.
>You sure just inserted a nickel.
>The reason it's an issue with me is I don't like people trying to ram their beliefs down my throat. There is a very large group in this country that is trying to do exactly that, and I don't like it. At all. This is not the country I grew up in or the country I love. Christian fundamentalists will not rule this country unopposed as long as I have a pulse. We would be no different from Iran. Never.
It sound to me like your problem with the Christian is more of a personal problem then based on rational thinking.
People are always trying to "ram" their belief on us all the time. N.O.W., Plan Parenthood, NRA, NAACP, gay rights groups and etc, etc.... They all try to advance their agenda. So why such hostility toward the Christians?
Is it open season on Christians? :)
Or are we just trying to be "politically correct" towards the others?
The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money.
