>I am using a drop down menu in my application. The background screen has several buttons on it. I want the buttons to change color if the mouse is moved over them. However, the application keeps the last menu accessed dropped down and the buttons never fire the mouseover or mouseleave events. Is there any way I can get these events to fire even if the menu is active? Thanks!

I don't think so. Maybe a better way would be to keep track of the menu item selected and "bring it back" once the form is closed.
