>Tennessee isn't flat geographically (like Kansas),but the top and bottom of the state (when viewing the map) are relatively flat. TN has been described as being comprised of three states due to the political differences in the west, middle and eastern parts of the state. West Tn is largely democrat, but with a growing base of Republicans, the rest of the state is mostly democrat, except for the urban areas, where you have fairly large concentrations of dummycrats. Some think TN even has mountains in the east, but if you've ever been to the Rocky Mountains, you'll agree, there are only hills in TN.

It's a beautiful state. The sooner our hive structure understands that suburban vanities eats scenery the better chance our descendants will have to enjoy the hills and dales of Tenessee.

When you move up the political ladder, as I am sure you will - remember that a gabby, lonely progressive in Houston once recalled the natural beauty of the Tennessee of his youth. (pass the hanky - I'm tearing up!)
