My clients haven't been clamoring for PDF versions of reports (they sometimes own Acrobat, anyway), but it would be nice to easily do this without too much hassle. I was testing XFRX and Mind's Eye this evening and, unfortunately, neither one of them was working.
With Mind's Eye, I noticed that two images in the PDF which were supposed to be centered were rendered at a smaller size and over to the left, completely throwing off the look of the report.
With XFRX, it generated those images ok, but on the second page of the report it just didn't generate two other images at all.
And both of these eval copies are supposed to be full working editions (they just put in some "this is a demo" type of text).
So I'm thinking I'll try GhostScript next. That seems a little more involved. Is anyone using this extensively with good results?
