The quality of these shows is not the item here, Jean. Although we could make it an item, of course. :)
This year I no longer follow those shows, but my wife and the kids still do follow Terra Incognita. Most times I sit nearby with the laptop on the lap, logged in on UT, ha! My personal opinion about these shows is that the presenter (presentator) influences the watchers' interpretation of what they are going to see too much. Like whether we're actually too stupid to interpret it independently. That's why I don't like it anymore. But I must admit that I watched Robinson Island with pleasure the first year.
