John,

I absolutely support the troops. That's one of my biggest problems with the current policy. Including the lack of ability of anyone in the current administration to admit a mistake.

We've put our troops in harms way in a big way. The war was not thought out well. As explained by many experts, and also Bush 1, once Saddam was no longer in power, there would be a massive power vacuum in Iraq. This could potentially lead to a major civil war. This is what we are seeing. We are not safer here, Iraq is an exremely dangerous country with no end to the violence in site. Our troops are not supported anywhere close to the degree they need to be supported.

You've drunk the koolaid that if you're against the war, you're not patriotic. Instead of just being someone who belives supporting the troops means saying you support the war, do some studying on events over there now.

>Why don't you just admit that you are still mad about the FIRST election? Your antipathy for Bush has never waned. You have been steadfast in your disdain, which is your privelage. However, while our troops are in harms way, I think we should support them and the effort. I think we need more troops over there, not less. Of course, I'm a member of the VRWC and I believe we should take care of business before we leave.

(On an infant's shirt): Already smarter than Bush
