But I think I will be able to do pretty much the same, with the help of Christian Ehlscheid instructions in this thread.

BTW I wonder what they use GlobalAlloc, GlobalFree, GlobalSize for?

Anyway, I am thinking its so much trouble to do it this way, having to build a resource only dll with the icons, just to show a custom icon on a messagebox, that I may just do an all foxpro code messagebox replacement class/function, using forms, etc.

(Christian: I found a sample to do a resource only dll easily with VB6)

That way I will be able to customize position (center on app for example, and not on screen), buttons position (center or right), icon, etc etc.
