It just help you do it on mass scale i/o opening reports one by one uncheking 'Save printer env.' and then saving again, in order to clear up
printer environment info (that was Tore's point I guess) from frx table.
Function provided there does that for entire folder(s) while preserving
report orientation and paper size.
I don't know if this resolves your problem with speed, but is good thing to anyway. Having printer environment saved with report, brings nothing but trouble on the long run.
If you are running reps from within exe then you have to compile it again,
in order for your app to 'register' changes.
If you ship frx files together with your app then u need to apply
frx cleaner function on user site.
