We are safer now because Al Queda has modified their plans. All you have to do is listen. They haven't kept too many secrets from us.

They stated a long time ago that their plan of attack was to attack those who aligned themselves with us. To get the people to push for their country to no longer be involved in the Middle East.

If you are so up on the war, why don't you complain more. As a cop, I'd think you'd appreciate the circumstances there. It's almost like the North Hollywood situation here several yrs ago when the bad guys had an arsenal and the good guys had their little pistols.

We've sent reservists with little training to fight against a battle hardened enemy. And forgotten to give them armor, minor things like that.

>I agree we need more troops over there. As to being safer here, we haven't had another terrorist attack since 9/11. So, I'd say we are safer.

>>You've drunk the koolaid that if you're against the war, you're not patriotic. Instead of just being someone who belives supporting the troops means saying you support the war, do some studying on events over there now.

>I'm probably as up on the war as most. My take is we don't leave the job half done. We need to finish it, then back out and let the Iraqis run their own show. Or, we should just take over the country and make them all slaves!(just kidding)

(On an infant's shirt): Already smarter than Bush
