Hi all,

It is my first C/S try and I am working paralell with MSSQLEXPREES2005 and some Oracle db.
Have a few q. for Oracle db.

1. In Connection designer I am getting: "Connection succeeded" when I try to verify conection
with string like: DSN=POLITE;DATABASE=FirstDB;UID=SYSTEM;PWD=;

In project manager I can create and open remote view and see records but latter in programm I am getting message that table/view does not exist. From commnad windows it is also not possible to establish connection with above string.

Oracle version is Oracle8i Lite and name of ODBC driver is: Oracle Lite 40 ODBC

2. Besides, for this personal edition of Oracle I can't see in Control panel->Services
any server name like for some others: SQLEXPRESS, Firebird and ORACLE XE

I CAN establish connection in similar manner ( and from programm ) with ORACLE XE
server ( ODBC driver name: Oracle in XE ), ( but again new problems which I leave
for now aside ... )

3. MUST HAVE ORACLE TABLE PK ?
