Yeah, our is all lumped together. It's all PTO.

>At my previous employer I had 26 vacation days and 10 holidays (I had many years of service). I now have 15 days vacation and 10 holidays because I am now at 5 years of employment. I think 1 week the first year, 2 weeks a year thereafter, 3 wees at 5 years, 4 at 10, etc is pretty much standard in the corporate environment. OF course none of that includes sick days which I get up to 40 days a year. Some corps are combining it all into paid days off (and reducing the total) but we haven't done that yet.

>>I found this exerpt interesting: "Whereas Swedes get more than thirty paid days off work per year and even the Brits get an average of twenty-three, Americans can hope for something between four and ten, depending on where they live."

>>I'm not sure where the numbers come from, but I thought the average for Americans was more like 8 to 12 holidays, and then 2 weeks vacation (or personal time off). All which is paid for by the employer. I get about 5 weeks vacation and 10 holidays, which is 30 paid days off per year. I'm pretty much the average in my company, having been here 3 years.
