I have a vague recollection of Norton or some other antivirus program causing this. The sct extension is recognised as a script file so the file gets deleted by the antivirus. Try configuring your antivirus so that it ignores sct files and see if that helps.

>>>Hi friends,

>>>Strange problem from couple of days.
>>>
>>>During design and development when i use Ctrl+S to save a form the error of sct missing occurs.
>>>In the same directory of form where scx lies i can find a TMP file made, renaming that file to respective form scx makes it working.
>>>
>>>I reinstalled vfp8 twice with its service pack but with no difference. Ctrl + W surprisingly works fine.
>>>I have not installed any new software during these days, and my machine is virus free. Norton is disabled from system virus run check.

>>>Anybody who resolved this issue or with the same problem?

>>Although you say that you believe that your system is virus free I have only seen this when a virus or malware is present. I know that there are definitely some that will attack files with these extensions. I recommend double checking for viruses or malware. www.bitdefender.com has a free online scanner and adaware is a good free malware checker.
Frank.
