Kind of a tough question for me because I am OK with courier but...

Have you considered getting a program that will convert a font from prop. space to fixed width? I seem to recall using a shareware one years ago (worked with TTFs). I know this adds the problem of the font file not being on the users machine but there are ways around it. For new users, you could build it into the install routine. For old users, you can give them a simple update program or install disk that will install it for you.

One last possibility. Build a function into your program that, upon bootup, it checks for the font. If the font doesn't exist, you copy it to the fonts directory (which installs it).
