Thanks for the suggestion but I did that and a ThisForm.Refresh
It seems if i move the record pointer the infomation disapears. For example if the record of current focus qualifies under the filter and I don't do a GO TOP that one record will display the correct info. If however the record pointer has to move in accordance with the filter or I issue a GO TOP the information is gone. Yet when the grid first appears it is fine. Very puzzeling!
