When doing ole automation, I find it very useful to record a macro in the application I am trying to control. Then I pull it into VFP and modify the macro and run it in VFP. I have seen instances where the macro code wouldn't work as expected so I came up with a workaround. I copy the macro into my code, then add the macro to the application on-the-fly, then run the macro in the application.
