Wrong again. I question everything. The facts remain Iraq needed to be throttled for our own safety. That has happened and the country is in much better shape than it was, irrespective of what CNN and the other liberal media would have you believe. WE are better off too. I don't agree with everything Bush does; in particular the failure of the government to protect our borders. However, I do agree we need to finish the job.

>There are some very serious questions about the administrations desire to go to war in Iraq that are unanswered. And will probably remain so forever. But these questions all relate back to many in the administration wanting to remove Saddam. Despite some very good reasons for not doing so during the first Gulf War.

The questions are unanswered for those who refuse to hear the answers.

>Worse, one of the main reasons given for not removing Saddam during the first war was the potential for civil war as a result of the anarchy that would result. Yet the administration did absolutely no planning for the after effects of a toppling of the Iraqi government.
>
The reason they didn't remove him was they were talked out of it by pacifists. You want to leave a mass murderer in charge of a country that would attempt to take us out at the first opportunity.

>Vast sums of money were wasted when the provincial govt was put in place by the US govt putting people with no experience in charge of rebuilding Iraq. The resulting chaos is one reason for the insurgency finding no lack of those willing to become suicide bombers.
>

Especially when they brainwash them from birth.

>On the political front, Iran recognizes that the US is totally preoccupied with Iraq/Afghanistan, and is taking advantage of the situation. For you to spout that we can just finish Iraq and then go into Iran, as if this can happen tommorrow, show total ignorance on your part of the facts.
>

I love the way you sit in the saddle on your high horse. I'm well aware we won't be going to Iran unless something very extreme happens. However, we will be getting the UN to issue sanctions against them. Iran will either comply or wither on the vine. Another thought is to let the Israelis handle them, which I believe would work!

>You appear happy because we are killing someone. Does the amount of blood spilled for no reason have any effect on you at all?
>
Yeah right. You appear to be confused. I've been shot at six times over 30 years and have yet to return fire. I couldn't return fire because the thugs are chickens! They fire, then run like hell, or they fire from a crowd and then run like hell.

I think your problem is you are too comfortable. Get out of the city for a while. Chill out. Go camping in the wilderness by yourself with only a tent and the basics. Better yet, go camping in grizzly bear country by yourself. Get close to God!<vbg>
