NOPE - that doesn't work either. I'm using a DROPDOWN COMBO not a DROPDOWN LIST. If I use the list THEN I can get it to open, however, then the user doesn't have the option of typing in an acceptable value (instead of choosing from a list).

For entry speed it is much faster for my users to type a two character code when doing data entry than to have to select from a list.
