weren't visible in your post when I first read it and they weren't in the quoted text when I replied. But now I see them in both places. When I get to the office I can pull up a chunk of asp code we have that works and look for any other differences.

Are you sure your COM object is returning a result bracketed by TR and TD tags? Otherwise you have an invalid inner table definition.
