Eisenhower had a plan when he took the office of the President called K1C2. By this, Ike indicated that he intended to take care of Korea first, Communism and Corruption second.
I like the story about the board of regents at Columbia University. After the World War II, the regents were searching for a president for the university. Someone mentioned “Eisenhower”. So Ike was hired. The person who made the suggestion upon hearing that Ike was hired stated, “No, I meant his brother Milton, the educator”!
