I haven't read thru the whole thread, but you might be interested in some news I heard on the radio this morning. Turns out the company that sent major money Cunningham's way has done some major deals with the White House in the last several years.
I would assume from the discussions of Cunningham, the briberies all involved defense contracts. Yet the company that sent him money got a $600 million dollar contract to do white house furniture.
The white house is going to be extra crowded for the xmas holidays with all the investigators for various things hanging out there.
>>>Well, another God fearing Republican has bitten the dust! U.S. Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham, a California Republican, resigned on Monday after pleading guilty to taking $2.4 million in bribes in exchange for help in securing Defense Department contracts.
>>>
>>>I remember the words of Vice President Agnew: “I am innocent of any wrong doing”! I imagine that politicians expect to be bribed in order to do a credible job.
>>
>>But Republicans are the party of morality!
