Re-read the scenario. I didn't say kill them because they said they were going to kill you. I said at what point would you shoot them? All my training says once they possess the gun, having given their intent, they are toast. I'm not going to wait for them to take a few shots at me. Nor am I going to try to shoot the gun from their hand. Center of mass until the threat has abated.
