This situation, like it or not, isn't about freedom. The jihadists don't hate us for our freedoms. They hate us for our presence in Iraq and Saudi Arabia. The hate us for our policies on Israel.

I'm not sure the argument was ever about that the jihadists hate us for our freedom, but they hated us for our ideals and philosophies long before they hated us for being in Iraq. Iraq just acerbated the situation.

I will never believe this. I think we have yet to see one drop of profit from Iraq's oil that directly benefited anyone exept Iraq.
