While what I said may come off as pompous, it wasn't intended as such. The fact of the matter is, we are the only superpower left. We are also the only country I know of that will conquer a dictator like Saddam, then spend money and lives rebuilding the country so it can "play nice" with the rest of us. Germany never did that, neither did England, France, Japan, nor Iraq, Iran, etc. etc. etc. If we were like those other countries, we would now own Iraq. It's funny to me that people in other countries don't see that.


As for the UN, we don't need them to sanction what we do, but it is always good if they do.
