Good guess, but no. (Yes, there was at least one time that the Saints won 11 games and finished with a WC).

In 2001 (last year before realignment into 4 divisions), the Packers and 49ers both finished at 12-4. However, the Bears and Rams won their divisions with records of 13-3 and 14-2.

Never before had 2 WC teams faced each other in the WC round with 24 combined victories. (Given the restructuring, I don't think it'll ever happen again).

I have a friend who lives in Hershey, PA. Once every few months we get together for dinner, and trade trivia questions. Loser buys dinner. I won dinner last time (in trivia OT) with that one.
