>The two statement were not in a direct relation and have different explanations.

No. They were examples of your lack of respect for anyone that has opinions that differ from yours. Furthermore, you jumped in with your "provocation" AFTER John was asked not to use a particular word - which he agreed not to do:

>>John, please kick it up a notch. will you? Don't treat us like idiots with your "dummycrats", "liberals" wide brush. If you wamt intelligent discourse, have at least a semi-open mind.
>
>Okay, okay. No more dummycrats. I guess we already know who is liberal and who "ain't". Point well taken.

>That is because you can't read it. You enter my reading biased and simply don't see what I'm telling. I've stated before that I admire certain aspects of americans.

You make a statement, I react to it. Your posts continuously trash America and Americans, including (but not limited to) our elected president. Don't like him? That's fine. Keep it civil and I have no problem with that.

>LOL, You really think that you are better off when taxes are low? That is the stupidest remark I ever heard.

Prove me otherwise. Anecdotes don't cut it.

>>You claimed Europe as a role model. Either defend that, or change your statement.
>
>I've never said that Europe is a complete role model (You really need to read better, you're not doing a good job here).

I read just fine. Do I have to quote your post again?

You should deepen yourself in politics as held in europe. It will give you a new view on what civilisation means.

There's a lot I like about Europe. And a lot I don't like. Same with the US. Our political system isn't perfect, but it seems to do pretty well for us, and we've only ever had a couple of major upheavals (I count the Civil War and the civil rights movement of the 1960's). Your political systems were totally reinvented in the last fifty years, but only after tens of millions of people died. Tell me how I need to draw a new view of civilization from that.

>You totally ignore the fact that you are comparing the America of today with the Europe of yesterday. Now that, my friend is where the meat is. Compare those and you'll be surprised which huge steps have been set since WWII.

Oh, I get it. I need to IGNORE the first half of the last century. Well, excuse me. If you are happy with what you have now, that's great (we'll just ignore the little pile of Balkan issues, shall we?). Has it ever occured to you that we might just be happy with the way our system works?

>Revolutions are neccesary to create a new world. There is nothing you can do about that.

I'm not quite sure what to make of that statement. Are you suggesting we overthrow the government? Sorry, any revolutionaries that show up on my street are going to get a dose of buckshot.
